Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Gaile Griffin Peers
After 30 years of taking photos for pleasure, I started taking photos for magazine reproduction a few years ago. As a long term editor and having run a couple of small publishing and design businesses (involving commissioning photos), I tend to take the sort of photos that I used to buy - ranging from the odd and quirky to the semi-abstract and texture photos that make an effective magazine cover. When I compose a photo I look for:- impact for calendar or postcard; a sharp edge with a blurry background or plain area for text overlay; an interesting shot to illustrate an article; an informative shot, to tell a story or an illustrative photo to add emphasis to a business/management presentation.
